Archbishop Averky’s commentaries have become standard textbooks in the Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary and have been published in Russia to widespread acclaim. We ae holding the next class for Lector’s on January 20th in the church from 10:30 to Noon with lunch provided afterward. All ages are welcome.. We encourage all current treaders to attend and an open invitation to all who might be interested in joining us in this ministry. We have some updates we need to go over from Bishop Epps. We are hosting a bible study by Kristi McLelland, ‘Jesus and Women in the first century and now.’ The book will be available for $10 thru the church or you may purchase on Amazon for $16.99. Sign up is required. Please fill out the form below and we will contact you, Tuesdays, starting January 11th from 10:30-12 or Thursdays, starting January 13th from 7-8:30 pm. The class will last 8 weeks.
Cathedral of Christ the King Christmas Fellowship will take place in the Parish Life Center immediately following church on Sunday, December 12th. The church will be providing pasta, no-meat sauce, meat sauce, lasagna, and garlic bread. All drinks will be provided as well. We are asking that you bring a side dish and / or a dessert. You will have an opportunity to sign the clipboard in church or call the church at 770.252.2428.
VBS 2021 is headed to present-day Israel where discovery awaits at Destination Dig. Kids will unearth more than dirt as they dig up exciting evidence that proves Biblical events were not just stories. As junior archaeologists, kids will explore real-life archaeological finds that have helped to uncover the truth about Jesus! Along the way, they’ll discover the truth of Jeremiah 29:13, that God reveals Himself to us when we seek and search for Him with all our hearts.
You are welcome to register your child(ren) in person, the first day of VBS. If you know ahead of time that you will be joining us, online registration is available to streamline intake for you!
